Job Summary:
Provides overall direction for Operations/Support Services in the delivery of
voice mail, paging systems/services and automatic call distribution systems.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Manages technical staff required to meet voice mail, paging systems/services,
automatic call distribution and pager/cellular system services.
- Prepares feasibility analysis and makes recommendations for changes or
enhancements to services and equipment hardware and software based on the latest
technological advancements.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by reviewing service/system performance levels and
identifying areas for improvement. Develops methods to implement any changes or
enhancements.
- Provides consultation services to system users on the potential use and
configuration of system features and functionality. Develops configurations and
system standards that will ensure advantageous implementation and acceptance.
- Provides end user support by developing and distributing feature information via
system messages, campus-wide distribution and on an individual basis.
- Conducts analysis, prepares reports and makes recommendations for enhancements
to services and equipment hardware and software.
- Provides support in the departmental planning and budgeting efforts by providing
recommendations, statistical data and reports.
- Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to
monitor and enforce compliance.

Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and 3 years related experience Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment.
