Job Summary:

To provide supervisory skills necessary for the operation of a telephone system, Western Union Telex, Radio Page System, and Overhead Paging.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

• Trains and supervises regular or relief operators, radio page dispatchers and clerks.
• Assists the operators and dispatchers in answering and routing calls.
• Keeps records and makes reports.
• Takes care of recording and reporting all repairs of equipment under his/her supervision.
• Monitors all long distance calls via tickets.
• Adheres to internal controls established for department.
• Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and four years related experience.

Equipment: 

Standard office equipment.
