JOB SUMMARY:

Plan, coordinate, develop, evaluate, and conduct complex training and educational programs for information systems and user community with supervision.  Competent working at the highest level of all phases of Information Systems training.

 

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

  • Uses independent judgment when designing and developing course curriculum and training materials.

  • Assists in identifying customer work flow and process.  Determine how application will effect and or change customer process.

  • Leads Instructor-Led-Training courses and makes decisions regarding individual class structure based on audience

  • Plans, implements, and evaluates information systems training programs for UTMB employees.

  • Identifies resources and facilities essential to provision of in-service education.

  • Assists Applications Systems Analysts with application testing.

  • Maintains records of training activities, employee programs, and program effectiveness. 

  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

  • Performs related duties as required.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and 2 years related experience

 

EQUIPMENT:

Standard office equipment.  PC desktop and AV equipment.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Standard office and classroom environments
