Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing intermediate analysis and
documentation, formulating logical statements of business and management
problems, and providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient
operational procedure, work flow, and information technology solutions.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Solves intermediate to complex technical issues.
- Serves as a role model to Applications Systems Analysts.
- Applies intermediate to advanced analysis skills to create and maintain
documentation.
- Identifies, designs and verifies solutions with other applications.
- Manages multiple activities within the scope of project; may function as
project lead.
- Designs and/or modifies plans and procedures, and follows project plans to
ensure project success.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Assists in coordinating implementation of systems.
- Assists in the cost justification of system changes and information
technology resources.
- Proactively partners with customers to meet their needs.
- Researches new technological solutions, verifies and applies solutions of
others and self.
- Applies analysis and documentation to support and understand problem.
- Understands components within a system, as well as interaction with other
applications.
- Demonstrates awareness and understanding of institution, department and
customer mission and goals.
- Provides status updates to project leadership.
- Serves as liaison with vendors and/or business partners and their products
and services.
- Participates as a team member.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two years related experience.
