JOB SUMMARY: 

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for modifying application programs from detailed specifications.   

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

 

·         Researches and investigates assignments.

·         Prepares sequence of operations and other information in outlining the program developed.

·         Performs testing or modifies system design to solve basic problems.

·         Codes basic programs according to specifications from other levels of Applications Analysts.

·         Interprets detailed specifications from which programs will be written. 

·         Assists in designing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining systems and programs.

·         Gathers data, prepares, and updates system documentation for existing and proposed procedures. 

·         Prepares documentation and assists in implementation.

·         Participates as team member.

·         Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

·         Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent and two years related experience.

Must possess sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify to start in applications analysis or programming.    

EQUIPMENT:

Standard computing equipment 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Standard office environments.
