Job Summary:

Under general supervision, works from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex software programming applications. Works on applications for utility programs, and control modules.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Provides the analysis of system problems and develops/implements solutions.
  • Develops and documents efficient programming techniques.
  • Performs documentation and maintains system data structure parameter.
  • Performs program design, generation testing, and maintenance of specific components of the over-all system.
  • Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs and other control modules.
  • Assists in implementing and customizing purchased applications.
  • Assists in maintaining program libraries and technical manuals.
  • Defines and maintains application data structure. Tunes data structures for performance, provides back up and recovery and archive functions.
  • Provides required support to application delivery.
  • Participates as team member.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and one year related experience.

Equipment: 

Standard networking systems, data delivery systems, and database equipment

Working Environment:

Standard office environment
