An example of one of the module groups used by ODT&R is titled Leadership for Results.  This system is a modular performance improvement program that develops the leadership skills needed for strategic focus and competitive success.  It includes competencies that enhance collaboration, interaction and coaching.  It is based on research that identified five essential leadership strategies indicated by the acronym CLIMB.

Create a compelling future- by creating, communicating, and sustaining a vision and managing change.

Let the customer drive the organization - by basing organizational decisions on knowing what customers want and need.

Involve every mind - by giving employees and teams the responsibility, resources, information, training and support they need to solve problems and improve their work and the organization.

Manage work horizontally - by managing projects, creating links among groups, and focusing on interdepartmental processes, systems and technologies.

Build personal credibility -by taking initiative and responsibility, sharing both mistakes and successes, and demonstrating professional ethics and personal commitment.

For additional information on the study, please access "A Grassroots Model for the Workplace" on the AchieveGlobal website at www.achieveglobal.com

These modules benefit all levels of employees-anyone who works with other individuals or groups or a s part of a chain of customers and suppliers.  The modules can be matched to the department/group/organization's needs.  The modules are all based on the most current understanding of adult learning.  Participants play an active role in discovering, applying, practicing, and personalizing key concepts.
