HR Technology Solutions function fulfills the technology mission of WTA by assisting with the identification, selection, implementation,
and functional support of our primary HR business process and tools suite, either at the departmental or institutional level.
HR Technology Solutions serves as a liaison between the HR leaders and staff and the enterprise IT organization.
Our current project has been a collaborative effort between these areas on upgrading our current PeopleSoft HCM application from version 8.9 to 9.1.
This has included a redesign of both our Manager Self Service applications and our TAM / Recruitment application.
Launch of the redesign is scheduled for late spring / early summer 2013.
Our mission at HR Analytics is to get the right data to the right people in the right context.
The team facilitates the identification, definition and implementation of key HCM analytics which promote more timely
and accurate decision-making about the workforce. Ranging in size and complexity, our projects may include legislative
and state requests, media and executive requests, data quality interventions, and multi-year workforce planning projects.
Our team is also responsible for producing key workforce performance indicators for HR and other dashboards.
HR Employee Records
The Office of Employee Records. Services function is responsible for the maintenance and management of the official UTMB/CMC employee HR personnel records for regular, non-regular, staff and faculty positions. The purpose is to ensure an understanding and standardization of procedures relating to the security and management of the official HR institutional and department personnel records. Additional services provided include the wage, employment, and service verifications, as well as public information requests.
