In preparation for your year-end tax forms, all employees are asked to complete the following actions:
- Submit your consent through Employee Self Service to receive an electronic copy of your W-2 tax form for 2023 if you have not already done so. The consent link is located under the Payroll and Compensation section.
- Any employee who does not consent to receiving an electronic copy of the form by Jan. 13, 2024, will be sent a paper copy through the U.S. mail no later than Jan. 31, 2024.
- If you have already signed up to receive your W-2 tax form electronically, you do not need to complete the consent process again.
- NEW! Sign up through the My UT Benefits online portal to receive an electronic copy of your
1095-C tax form for 2023. The form contains information about your health care coverage that will be needed to complete your tax return.
- UT System has partnered with a new vendor, and beginning with tax year 2023, your 1095-C tax forms will be accessible through My UT Benefits.
- This means employees will need to submit a new consent to receive an electronic copy of this year’s form. For detailed instructions on the consent process, please refer to this guide.
- Any employee who does not consent to receiving an electronic copy of the form by Jan. 5, 2024, will be sent a paper copy through the U.S. mail after Jan. 31, 2024.
